Meet the principal

Act 64. Quiet Night

So, under the leadership of Reiner, Claire asked the director of the Silver Rose Restaurant to seriously examine for the first time whether the hotel's contract for all meals was an unwise decision.

When mountains of roasted meat and roasted chicken were served one after another, and all kinds of strange drinks were poured down like water, Reiner could only shrug helplessly and sit across the dining table, shaking the red wine in his glass.

Claire's large appetite also attracted the attention of several mages. Out of politeness, they didn't ask any more questions and just showed their surprise at Claire.

"Hey, is it true that you can eat anywhere here?"

Claire wiped her mouth with a napkin, looked at the mages on both sides eating simple food, and confirmed to Reiner in a low voice.

"Yes, you don't have to worry."

Reiner took a sip of red wine. His words made Claire feel very reassured, and he ordered three more plates of fried steak.

The dinner lasted for two hours, and by the time Claire was full of wine and food, there were already piles of plates as high as a hill on the table.

"Thanks for the hospitality."

Claire drank the strange light green drink in her cup in one gulp, and then said this to the waiter who came to clear the plates, making the other party tremble.

"Don't worry, she won't eat people."

Reiner joked, making Claire roll her eyes at him before speaking.

"Your dishes are delicious. Thank you Mr. Chef for me."

The waiter could only nod and carefully put away the tableware, as if sitting in front of him was some violent king.

Reiner gave the waiter a small tip, then got up and left the restaurant with Claire.

But when the two returned to the hotel lobby, they discovered a serious problem, that is, Claire did not have a room.

"Sorry, our hotel rooms are full."

The lobby manager explained with a business smile.

"It's a bit difficult to handle."

Reiner thought as he touched his chin.

They would take the aeroboat back to Toronto tomorrow, and they really had to find a place to stay tonight.

"Aren't you two lovers? It shouldn't be a problem to share a room."

The lobby manager said something more, which immediately stunned the two of them.

Reiner didn't take this into consideration. His suite was very luxurious and could easily accommodate two people.

Claire, on the other hand, was hesitant and speechless. She glanced at Reiner beside her from the corner of her eye, and then spoke in a small voice like a murmur.

"...They are not a couple."

"Yeah, that's a good way."

Reiner nodded, then thanked the lobby manager and took Claire to his room on the seventh floor.

"Wow, this room is so big."

After seeing Reiner's luxurious suite, Claire, who was originally timid, all her hesitations immediately disappeared. She walked into the room with a patter, stepped on the soft carpet, and was as excited as a puppy after seeing a bone. Reiner almost saw an illusion of her tail wagging.

"Ahem, this is one of the most luxurious suites."

Reiner cleared his throat. He came to the window of the living room and opened the curtains with a splash. The entire Wagner Lake was in view, which made Claire come closer.

The sparkling waves of Wagner Lake at night complement each other with the stars in the sky. A light mist lingers on the lake, giving it a somewhat psychedelic color.

"Is this Lake Wagner? I've only heard of it before, but I didn't expect it to be so beautiful."

Claire's eyes were shining as she pressed against the window, her soft girl's body touching Reiner's forearm from time to time, which made people think.

"Claire, give me your hand."

Reiner stood in front of the window, looking at Lake Wagner outside, and said suddenly.

"Huh? Isn't this a little bad? I'm not ready yet..."

The plot of the novel quickly flashed through my mind,

Claire took two steps back, looking reserved.

"Hand out your hand and I'll replenish your magic power."

Speaking in a slightly tough tone, Reiner's words made Claire unable to refuse.

Although in the novels I had read before, most of the so-called supplementary magic was accompanied by some kind of indescribable behavior that made people blush and make their hearts beat. However, Claire was shocked by Reiner's attitude and slowly stretched out her left hand.

Then, Reiner also stretched out his right hand, and the two hands touched together. A cool force immediately spread from Reiner's fingers to Claire's palm.

This power was like clear spring water, gradually calming Claire's thoughts, nourishing her body, and repairing her damaged soul.

"This is?"

Transferring magic power is not a simple matter. Since the magic power condensed within oneself has obvious characteristics, once it encounters the flow of external magic power, it is easy to have a rejection reaction. However, it is obvious that the magic power that Reiner injected into Claire's hands at this time is not the same. Will not cause rejection.

"It's the effectiveness of this thing."

Reiner turned over his palm, and between his fingers, a dark golden ring shone brightly in the moonlight.

"What is this?"

Claire had never heard of such a prop that could directly transmit magic power, and her face was full of question marks.

"It is said to be called the Hohenheim Gold Cup."

Reiner said with a mysterious smile.

"It turned out to be the Hohenheim Gold Cup, and I said what... uh, wait, the Hohenheim Gold Cup?"

Isn't this a very powerful award? Why is it in Reiner's hands! ! ?

It took a few seconds to react, and Claire looked at Reiner in disbelief.

"You, you, you, you are the young man who won the award!!?"

"Yes, what a coincidence."

Reiner's mischievous smile made Claire a little embarrassed and wanted to run away, but the magic from Reiner's palm made it difficult for Claire to refuse.

She was not completely fine. The impact of casting magic over a higher level was far-reaching. In fact, the reason why she ate so much was to replenish the lost energy.

"So, you won the Hohenheim Gold Cup on that paper?"

Confirming again, Claire suddenly felt that there was something different about the principal in front of her.

"Yes, and also promoted Crescent Coke to mercury scales."

Reiner said lightly.

Can this person really save Crescent College?

Thinking in her mind, Claire realized that her cheeks were a little hot. Being in contact with a male body for too long made the young girl feel embarrassed. She did not care about the magic power that Reiner continued to inject, and withdrew her hand.

"I-I'm going to take a shower."

Watching Claire sneak into the bathroom, Reiner shrugged and smiled. He made the bed, took a blanket, and lay down on the couch in the living room.

When Claire, who had put on her own pajamas, came out, the principal, who had worked hard for three days, was already sound asleep, breathing softly, and seemed to have had a sweet dream.

Claire didn't wake up Reiner, but tiptoed to the bedroom and got under the quilt.

But the whole bed was filled with Reiner's scent, making the girl toss and turn.
