88. Unexpected Situation [1]

Elves were prideful. Regardless of their skin color, pride ran through their bloodlines. Elves were also quick-witted and short-tempered. They never tolerated humiliation, and anyone who dared to humiliate them could consider death to be the least of their worries. Unfortunately, Logan did exactly what he wasn't supposed to.

"Kyaaaaaaa!" Louise screamed at the top of her lungs.

Logan couldn't handle the overwhelming sensation and passed out with a satisfied smile on his face. Louise, on the other hand, looked at his still-throbbing rod, her face redder than a tomato.

"L-leader!" Sylvia called Louise, but Louise's deathly-cold glare made it clear: "Forget whatever you've seen." Sylvia and her partner nodded vigorously. They cared for their lives.

Louise left the prison cell without saying a word. Sylvia looked at Logan's still-throbbing rod before harrumphing and leaving. Her partner lingered for a while before leaving with a blush on her face.

"So you *Pftt*... So you *Pftt* you were *Pftt*." A beautiful elf laughed while looking at Louise.

The elf woman was short but had an enchanting, lithe figure. She was draped in a skin-tight black dress, which highlighted her curves. The silk of her dress shimmered in the sunlight streaming through the leaves of the surrounding trees.

Her skin was a rich shade of cocoa, flawless and unblemished, with piercing eyes of vibrant red emerald that glinted with intelligence and power. Her sharp features were accentuated by long, shining, and silky gray hair that flaunted in the air as her sweet laughter echoed.

Her movements were elegant, and the throne on which she sat was made from dark, rich wood, decorated with tree veins and climbers that seemed to grow and twist around the curves of the chair. A divine aura of green appeared as she continued laughing.

"Your majesty!!! Why are you laughing?!" Louise rebutted. She had come to get permission for the direct execution of the man she had tortured earlier.

"I-I am sorry *Pfftt*, but wasn't that your fault?" The queen said while wiping her tears. She had laughed after centuries.

Though it was humiliating, it was partially Louise's fault. "You tried to replicate your mother, am I right?" Louise's face turned red. The queen wasn't wrong.

"She was feared and called the nightmare of men in the human realm." The queen said proudly. "But you should've studied the torture method properly before using it." Louise felt smaller after the queen's words.

"B-but! This was the first man I saw after we left Silverhaven." Louise said in embarrassment.

"Fufuf~ Little girl. Don't push yourself too hard." The queen's gentle voice soothed Louise. "Even though you got drenched in a human's cum, you are still a competent commander." The queen's words were gentle yet unpleasant.

"Also, bring that human into the judgment hall once you extract his details." The queen's mischievous voice turned serious. "I am curious about how he found our location."

"Indeed! I also find it difficult to believe that it was an accident." The queen's long elf ears twitched. "An accident?" She contemplated.

"The other testimonies said. Their names are Lara, Lisa, and Anna." Louise brought a report and put it in front of the queen.

"According to them, they are a group of rogue adventurers. While roaming in the forest, they were against a mystical creature that used some skill that teleported them through a spatial gap."This was a lie the group had come up with in the past month. If they found any civilization or even a village where their arrival might cause problems, they told this.

"Sounds like a first-thought lie," the queen concluded.

"Yes, your majesty. The group also told that during the battle, their tank man was severely injured. Thus, they were searching for a Priest-level healer." Telling a secret about one's health to a potential enemy was bad. However, it could also build trust.

"Then? Is that man 'severely' injured?" the queen asked with a smirk.

Louise swallowed her embarrassment and answered.

"His soul seems to be tempered," Louise answered.

"Hmm… is it that girl's skill?" Louise nodded.

"Your majesty?" Louise called after she got no response for a while.

"Bring him here. Tomorrow at noon," the queen said, and Louise left. She had a complicated expression but did not say it out loud.

Once Louise was gone, the queen took out an orb from her spatial ring. A warm light covered her body as the orb touched her palm. The orb showed a number: "369"

"The incarnation of the very light meant to vanquish the darkness shall appear to embrace and destroy it, but instead, it shall succumb and be consumed by its depths. -Fate," the queen said out loud. 'There is still a year before the prophecy will take place.'

Elves always believed in the prophecy, especially the elder Elves.

"I must find out who this man is… Can he truly be the chosen one?" she looked at the blue sky with her red eyes.

Her expressions were diplomatic. She was conflicted, both desiring and dreading its occurrence. Her race was in danger, and she could do nothing but wait.

"If only those elders weren't racists, we would've…" she swallowed her words. The bitter past flashed in front of her, leaving her helpless.

"I will never forgive them," she said and left. Her small lithe figure disappeared into the forest.

Logan woke up when someone pinched his cheek hard. It was Sylvia.

"You'll be dead today," she said with a smirk.

"It's been a long time since we've executed a male. Congratulations, you'll be the first male after centuries." Since there was enough light in the room, Logan could see the two elves.

Sylvia was a thin elf with cocoa skin. She had a boy cut, suiting her tomboy personality. She wore a green suit that hugged her skin like a second skin. Her eyes were typical emerald green applying to anyone looking at her. But there was one problem.

"Flat," Logan looked at Sylvia's chest and said out loud. He could not stare at any man's chest after living with voluptuous women like Lara, Lisa, and Anna, now can he?

"Who are you?" Logan asked the elf hiding behind Sylvia.

"Oye! You dare to ignore me again!" Logan ignored Sylvia's rumbling.

The timid elf hiding behind Sylvia looked at Logan with a flushed face. She had similar cocoa skin, her hash-brown hair tied in a neat bun with her bangs covering her long ears. She too had captivating red eyes that complimented her green skin-tight suit beautifully.

She seemed unsure of herself; her posture was slightly hunched, and her movements were hesitant as if she was trying to blend into the background. Despite her timid demeanor, there was a gracefulness in her movements that hinted at her elven heritage.

Logan felt a slight connection with her. Her face flushed, and she hid behind Sylvia hurriedly.

"Oye," Sylvia called Logan. Her emerald eyes burned with anger. "You've crossed the limit!" Taking her short sword out from the scabbard, Sylvia put it on Logan's neck. "Sy-Sylvia!! The queen has called him! You can't do anything before her majesty's judgment!" The timid elf grabbed Sylvia. This bickering continued, but Logan kept looking at the timid elf. For some reason, he felt her face was familiar. But he couldn't pinpoint it. "Sylvia! Bring that man out! Her majesty has arrived!" The guard of another cell shouted, and Sylvia got out of her stupor. "L-let's go!" Sylvia grabbed Logan's chains and pulled him like an ox. ...

Logan looked around while getting dragged by the weak elf. There were different types of trees everywhere. Above those trees were small huts covered in tree climbers and veins. It was a tree civilization. Elves looked at Logan with curious eyes. After all, this was their first time seeing a man. Unlike before, Logan was dressed neatly; he had bathed properly after a month. There was a single tree that was the tallest among all. It was the queen's residence. There were young and adult elves walking on the street while chatting merrily; however, they all stopped when they saw Logan. A man with only one arm, chained from top to bottom, pulled like an ox by a thin elf. Logan also looked at them curiously. Even if he was chained, he was still a handsome human. Many elves' faces flushed when Logan smiled at them. Despite Logan enjoying these little moments, his mind was somewhere else. He had two doubts in his mind that boggled him. Yet he controlled his expressions and continued walking. After a few minutes, they reached a place where the trees were different. This place had spikey veins as gates. When Sylvia said some words, the veins magically opened a path for them. Logan was left mesmerized by the scene in front of him. The same large tree he had seen previously stood at the very end. Under that tree was placed a beautiful wooden throne that exhilarated a divine aura, while fourteen different trees, seven on each side, were along the line of the gigantic tree. Several guards were guarding the area. These all elves wore very thin clothes that barely hid their hourglass bodies, but evidently, they were for battle ease. Every elf present there was a beauty among beauties. Logan's eyes wandered on everyone before pausing at Louise, who stood before the throne. When their eyes met, Louise's face twitched, and she gripped her bow. Earlier, Logan had two doubts, but now he had three. Lastly, his eyes landed on the most beautiful elf he had seen: the queen. When he appraised her from top to bottom, he confirmed his doubt. "So this is the trespasser, huh?" The queen's cold voice resounded. Logan's body shook. "Kneel!" Logan was thrown in the middle, a safe distance away from the queen, and was ordered by a brute elf. "Now I am damn sure." Logan thought as he stood up and looked at the elven queen. "For starters, there are no men except me in this place."

As he stood there, every elf looked at him warily, fear evident in their eyes. In the past, many incidents had put them in tough situations. The arrival of another calamity while they were already dealing with many was simply too troublesome. However, there were different kinds of stares as well.

"I can smell [lust]," Logan thought as he looked at several elves who hid their facial expressions, but their eyes spoke volumes about their situation. "I just need to use my words carefully." Currently, Logan was weak, and he had to admit that even Sylvia could kill him. He needed to be precise and think twice before uttering every word.

The queen's expression remained stoic and diplomatic as she appraised Logan from top to bottom. "He isn't one of them?" her mind was doubting many things, but she did not waste her time thinking over it. "Let's start with introductions first," Louise said, breaking the staring competition between the two. "Intruder, introduce yourself." She didn't bother with modesty.

"It's time to play it safe," Logan took a deep breath before moving a step ahead. "I am Logan Wayne, a rogue adventurer." Logan chose his words wisely.
